#LOGITECH UNIFYING SOFTWARE MOJAVE BLUETOOTH#
Long story short: Apple's Bluetooth stack is messed up big time but Apple don't care as long as it works with their own devices.ĭo not under any circumstances expect non-Apple devices to connect via Bluetooth and work reliably. I tried again after updating to Catalina and the issues still persisted. Fortunately, I was able to connect my headset via a USB cable and use the included Unifying Receiver dongle for my mouse. I could not use my JABRA headset or my Logitech mouse anymore. Unfortunately, they then backported that change/update to High Sierra as well, which means I was screwed. My solution back then was simple: downgrade back to High Sierra and continue using that for as long as possible. Ever since Mojave I've had major Bluetooth issues with pretty much all non-Apple devices regardless of make and model.
#LOGITECH UNIFYING SOFTWARE MOJAVE SOFTWARE#
At some point in the past, in the early days of Mojave, Apple's software developers either rewrote the Bluetooth stack or updated it for the worse, because that's when things went South. I've seen similar behavior with an MX Master 2S for the longest time. Is there a Bluetooth troubleshooting tool similar to the Wi-Fi troubleshooting tool in macOS?.Could it be something else other than interference?.Have any one experienced similar issues? And if so what helped fixing it?.

If anyone has experienced this and has a solution, let me know. Its like it looses connection for a split second. My Mac is connected to Internett via Ethernet cable and 5GHz Wi-Fi with channel width of 80MHz. My solution for now is my keyboard connected to the usb unifying device but sometimes the keys doesn’t register. Most of my devices use 5 GHz, except for my printer which do not support it. The AP is in the controller configured according to Apples recommendations on. The bluetooth mice and keyboard are places right next to the Mac. My Wi-Fi access point (Unifi AC-Pro) is set to broadcast at maximum strength and is located in the same room as my Mac. I have seen on the web that this might be caused by Wi-Fi interference, which is also backed by the fact it gets worse while in video-meeting (, ). The problems is most prominent when i am participating in a MS Teams videomeeting. The problem doesn't happen at all on my Windows-computers using the unifying reciver. I also have the problem that the keyboard at random fails to connect and have to be re-paired to my Mac.

The keyboard has a similar issue with the dial. Sometimes the scroll function on the mice stops working, until it suddenly starts catching up and start to scroll like crazy.

The Mac in question is a MBP 15-inch 2019. I had no problems with this when I used my old Apple Magic Mouse and Apple Magic Keyboard. Both of them works fine most of the time, but I have random lag on the keyboard and mose from time to time. I have recently purchased a logitech MX master mouse and logitech craft keyboard.
